11.Now in all seriousness, how long have you been doing art?
What do you think is the hardest part of art?

  • you mean art in general or a specific specialization?
Well about "art",I've been drawing since I was a kid,in the 5th grade of the elementary school I've been taking drawing classes.
Since 2008 Im an art student.
Im an animator since 2004-2005,but I've been animating simple stuff, mostly using ms paint and gif software. It couldn't be called animation at all,now when I look at the old stuff im simply amused at how I could create such garbage. My regular animating began in 2007 and Im still working on improving it.
And the hardest thing about art?
It might sound stupid but...practice.Drawing itself isn't hard, you draw something,so you like it...but...when you actually get some constructive critics, you start wondering, trying to analyse, find mistakes and correct them. It's the way to find your own style and work on it.
Now from other specializations, let's go to cartoons, here the hardest part are...ideas.Designs,scripts,scenarios.Those are the main parts that make me loose my head when I do a comic or an animation. No one wants to watch pointless stuff after all,no?It might be funny at times, but overusing it starts getting bored and just clearly stupid.

So quoting my teacher:The way to be an artist isn't simple. It's built of hard work, intense practice and an open mind

:new: 12:Why are the requests N/A?
  • It's lack of time.School takes me a lot of work,so requests will be open again:
    -on holidays (summer,winter)
    -eventually on weekends
    -on events (Easter,Christmas,Independence Day etc.)

If you have more questions, feel free and I'll add them here along with the answers
